Brief report on Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign held on 25^th August 2022 @ Zaingen YMA Hall, Khawzawl

                Entrepreneurship & Placement Cell, Govt. Khawzawl College in joint collaboration with Planning and Programme Implementation Department, Government of Mizoram and DCs’ Office Khawzawl organized one-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign on 25^th August 2022 at YMA Hall, Zaingen veng, Khawzawl. MrsLalrinmawii and MsLalhmingtluangi efficiently compeered the programme. Around 300 persons participated in the programme which included the students and staff members of Govt Khawzawl College, Self Help Group (SHG), Khawzawl and the students and teachers of Khawzawl Higher Secondary School. The programme was divided into two sessions. The first session started at 10:00 a.m., Mr.K.Ziona Principal Govt. Khawzawl College delivered a warm welcome speech rightly mentioning that “presently generation of employment is one of the most difficult tasks and seeking a job from the government is too risky, although awareness on the importance of self-support, self-reliance and hardworking are the reason that we organize entrepreneurship awareness programme” and he also quoted that “if there is no risk no gain”.

Mr. Lalvehima Addl. Deputy Commissioner, (Chief Guest) delivered a short speech about the importance of Entrepreneurship programme for younger generation and motivated the participants by saying aptly that “in every task, the most significant part to be successful are hard work and perseverance”. In the programme Mr. Eddie Laldintluanga and Ms Lalduhawmi performed special items to entertain the participants. Moreover, successful entrepreneurs and Master Trainer Entrepreneurs within Mizoram were invited as speakers and they delivered a speech on their stories of success which were much helpful and challenging for the participants in the programme. The interactive session was conducted after all the speakers’ presentation, in this session participants raisedquestions to the speakers and some of the speakers answered the questions, and the session was very thought-provoking and was one of the most crucial achievements of the programme. At the end of the programme Mr.H.Vanlalhruaia delivered the vote of thanks and the programme came to an end.
